A pair of Iran acting powerhouses Shahab Hosseini and Peyman Moaadi is set to shoot for new flick ‘6.5 Each Meter’ directed by Saeed Roustayi.
Besides these skilled thespians, new cast will be added in the coming days, a media report said Monday.
Producer Jamal Sadatian told media that the flick centers around the issue of drug abuse “and its consequences for society and families,” adding, “In fact, the current version of the screenplay changed compared to the original version and some details have been completely altered.”
‘Life+1 Day’ director Roustayi shoots his second film while his directorial debut won rave reviews from critics following premiere at the 35th edition of Fajr Film Festival.
Moaadi is one of the most recognized thespians of Iran, boasting an impressive acting credit to his name in Asghar Farhadi’s Oscar-winning ‘A Separation’. He also starred in Roustayi’s film debut ‘Life+1 Day’.
Shahab Hosseini has won the best actor award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival for his role in Asghar Farhadi’s ‘The Salesman’ (2016).
